A fixed disconnect interval can be caused by server session limits, app bugs, or router idle-timeout settings. Check another device on the same service; if the same timing occurs, it is likely the IPTV provider or router configuration, not the receiver itself.
Sometimes a VPN can improve IPTV by routing traffic through less congested paths, especially if your ISP throttles certain IP ranges. However, VPN also adds overhead and can reduce speed, so it must be tested case-by-case.
If IPTV runs smoothly on your phone but buffers or fails on the receiver, the issue is usually with the receiver’s network chip, Wi-Fi signal, or app configuration. Test with LAN cable directly to the router; if it works then, the Wi-Fi link or receiver settings were the problem.
