Welcome to the GloriousStore Satellite Receiver FAQ UAE. Here you’ll find clear answers to the most frequently asked questions about satellite receivers, StarSat 4K devices, IPTV boxes, dish installation services, order process, shipping, returns, payments and customer support across Dubai and the UAE. If you need help with anything related to satellite TV equipment or your online order, this page will guide you step-by-step.

Does cable length reduce signal?
Yes. Every meter of coaxial cable introduces a small amount of attenuation; long runs significantly weaken the high-frequency satellite signal. To preserve margin, keep cables as short as practical, avoid unnecessary joins, and use RG6/RG11 with low loss per meter.
Best coaxial cable for Dubai heat?

In Dubai’s climate, use RG6 or RG11 cable with solid copper conductor, double or quad shielding, and UV-resistant outer jacket. Cheaper copper-clad steel or thin indoor-rated cables degrade quickly under strong sun and high temperatures.

Why does coaxial cable affect signal?

Coaxial cable carries very high-frequency Ku-band signals. Poor-quality or old cables have higher attenuation, bad shielding, and sometimes corrosion inside, which introduces noise and reduces the signal reaching your receiver. For satellite systems in UAE/KSA, always use high-quality RG6 or RG11 with copper core and proper connectors.
